Our client is looking for a Construction Project Manager in the Rochester, NY area.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subs to determine the job specs of project.
- Create and Maintain timeline and budget
- Assist with the bidding process and contract negotiations.
- Help Secure subcontractors.
- Expedite procurement of permits and coordinate with state and city agencies.
- Facilitate appropriate safety training
- Attend weekly site meeting/walkthroughs
- Maintain communication with client, owners reps, design team and subcontractors
- Maintain all proper documentation and records
- Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant construction experience
- Wood framed construction is highly preferred
- Must have strong organizational and communication skills
- Commercial construction experience preferred (municipal, healthcare or government a plus)
Salary $70,000-$90,000
