Barrett Paving Materials' New York Central Region is accepting applications for experienced Heavy Highway Construction Laborers.
DESCIPTION:
The Construction Laborer role requires general labor and various equipment usage experience. Construction laborers transport materials and position various construction materials. Daily duties may vary and include clearing and preparing the construction site, cleaning site of all debris and removing site hazards to ensure safety at all times, providing assistance to Foremen and other Supervisors as needed, mixing, pouring and spreading materials, erecting and stripping formwork. Laborers are mostly working with traffic control and flagging. They operate a variety of equipment on occassion and must adhere to Barrett Paving Materials safety procedures and practices at all times.
**Main Responsibilities**
QUALIFICATIONS:
* GED or Highschool Diploma
* Valid New York State Drivers License Required
* Prior Flagging experience helpful
* valid CDL a plus
* OSHA 10 hour training or Flagger Certification a plus
