Our client, a dynamic, for-profit Behavioral Healthcare Company is looking to hire a Compliance Officer for their Union Square location in NYC! This is an on-site role working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Are you passionate about ensuring adherence to regulations and standards within the healthcare industry? As the Compliance Officer at this Behavioral Healthcare Company, you'll play a vital role in maintaining commitment to OASAS regulatory compliance and ethical standards. You'll have the chance to dive into research, monitor industry trends, and implement strategies to ensure the organization remains compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, you'll work closely with a passionate team (nearly 75 people) to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote integrity and excellence in service.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of Compliance experience out of either a Behavioral Health, outpatient facility; or out of a hospital based or inpatient setting
• Masters degree preferred, otherwise a Bachelors is required
• Ensure compliance with regulations set by New York State, governed by OASAS (Part 822 outpatient facility) ** experience with OASAS required**
• Send data to State, some analysis and reporting
• Research and create presentations (written and verbal communication is essential)
• ERM software experience/exposure, working with insurance; Medicaid, Medicare, must match their criteria and questions
• Researching and figuring out rules and regulations constantly
