Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on cannabis compliance regulations for retail, cultivation, and processing operations.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' compliance practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement tailored compliance strategies to align with local and state regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with evolving cannabis laws and regulations to provide clients with accurate and timely advice.
- Collaborate closely with clients' teams to establish and maintain compliant standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct training sessions for staff on compliance protocols and regulatory changes.
- Assist clients in preparing for and navigating regulatory inspections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Cannabis Compliance Consultant with expertise in retail, cultivation, and processing.
- In-depth knowledge of local and state cannabis regulations across various jurisdictions.
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements for retail, cultivation, and processing facilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site consultations.
