Our client a top tier REIT is seeking a commercial loan administrator to join their growing team. They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Commercial Loan Administrator. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial lending processes, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the preparation and review of commercial loan documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Process loan applications, including verifying borrower information, conducting credit checks, and assessing loan eligibility.
- Coordinate loan closings and ensure all necessary documents are properly executed and recorded.
- Maintain accurate records of loan transactions, including disbursements, payments, and changes to loan terms.
- Monitor loan compliance with covenants and conditions specified in loan agreements, and prepare reports for management as needed.
- Act as a point of contact for borrowers, providing assistance with loan inquiries, requests, and account maintenance.
- Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and legal counsel to resolve issues and ensure smooth loan administration processes.
- Stay informed about changes in commercial lending regulations and industry best practices, and implement updates as necessary.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lending or loan administration.
- Strong understanding of commercial lending principles, loan documentation, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan administration software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service to clients and colleagues.
This role is on-site in the Midtown, NY area offering a competitive base salary + bonus.
