Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate all typical inspection equipment, including automated CMM for the measurement of complex geometries.
- Ability to program Zeiss CMM is a big plus.
- Provide inspection support and analysis for Engineering Department
- Read and comprehend complex geometry defined on engineering drawings or CAD models.
- Utilize CAD designs for the purpose of performing dimensional analysis on components and assemblies.
- Create and utilize inspection programs.
- Control the calibration of inspection equipment.
- Recommend fixture / part holding requirements to Tool Design team members.
- Maintains inspection records and other related documents.
- Willing to be trained in other product testing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Requires good math and geometry skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
- A.S.Q.C. certified mechanical inspector is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years Quality Assurance / Inspection experience is preferred.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.

- Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; reviewing detailed information; viewing a computer terminal; and expansive reading.

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000- $80,000.
