You'll take the helm in solving challenges in our DevOps environment, cloud infrastructure, and network while harnessing the latest cloud provisioning tools. Automation will be your middle name as you streamline tasks using a scheduler, boosting efficiency like never before.The Cloud Systems Engineer will be remoteWhat You Can Do:Have a deep technical understanding of AWSMonitor systems and applications including Linux, Windows, and AWS servicesDeploy applications across a multitude of servers and operating systems hosted on AWSUse Bash or Shell or Python and SQL scripting to automate processesBuild/monitor/troubleshoot/fix all environments to ensure smooth and efficient operationsWork with CI/CD tools, tasks schedulers, and Amazon Web ServicesSkills You'll Need:3 - 6 years of Linux experienceBest practices in IT infrastructure, subnetting, routing, and firewall policiesWriting SQL queries to troubleshoot data issuesAbility to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, and customersExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentWhat Will Make You Stand Out:AWS or any other cloud services experience/certificationExperience with Teamcity or TerraformAbility to troubleshoot file transfer using ftp, ftps, sftp, ssh, and http/httpsFamiliarity with OpsWiseWhat We Offer:A collaborative environment where everyone's input makes a differencePaid time off: Vacation, Personal, Sick days, and HolidaysPre-tax commuter benefits (NJT, MTA, etc.) and 401k plan offeredFull medical and dental insurance coverage$100,000 - $150,000 a yearPay ranges at OptionMetrics are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee's job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time.
