Location Weehawken NJ (3 days hybrid)

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Data Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and deploying data platforms on MS Azure. You should have strong experience with MS SQL and be familiar with AWS DynamoDB and IBM DB2. Knowledge of RDF/Ontologies is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing data platforms on MS Azure
  • Developing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Ensuring data quality and security
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving data platform issues
  • Optimizing data storage and retrieval processes
  • Conducting performance tuning and optimization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in designing and deploying data platforms on MS Azure
  • Strong knowledge of MS SQL and experience with AWS DynamoDB and IBM DB2
  • Familiarity with RDF/Ontologies is a plus.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
  • Experience with data modeling and database design principles.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
