Position Summary:
The Department of Oral Diagnostic Sciences ( at the University at Buffalo is seeking a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor.
As a faculty member, you will have the following responsibilities:
+ Engage in leadership activities related to the Special Needs Clinic and Services.
+ Clinical and didactic teaching at the pre- and post- DDS levels in Special Needs
+ Research service activities, and patient care at the Special Needs Clinic
+ Act as leading facilitator in higher education in Special Needs and lnter-professional education
+ Provide supervision and lectures in clinical courses for DDS and post graduate students in the field
+ Demonstrate proficiency in the diagnosis and treatment in the field of Special Needs.
+ Produce scholastic activity in the field of Special Needs
+ Experience in educational innovation, use of technology in education, and computer skills are expected.
+ Dedicated staff and engaged faculty collaborate to further knowledge and understanding and develop competent graduates who are valued for their talents and their impact on global society.

Minimum Qualifications:
+ DDS or DMD or equivalent degree
+ Eligibility for unrestricted New York State license
+ Minimum of one year of experience providing patient care in the field of Special Needs
+ Minimum of one year of experience in academic and/or clinical teaching.
+ Minimum of one year experience/training in hospital dentistry.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Research experience in the field of Special Needs
