The Client Service Specialist will join the wealth management and financial planning team. The primary focus of this role is to handle various administrative tasks related to client onboarding, ensuring smooth processes and efficient client service. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and organized, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be an enthusiastic self-motivated
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with custodians, brokerage firms, and financial institutions to process client transactions, resolve discrepancies, and manage account-related inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of custodial interactions and follow up on outstanding items.
- Prepare and review necessary paperwork for client accounts, including, but not limited to, account opening, transfers, withdrawals, and beneficiary updates.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Execute fund transfers, wire requests, and other financial transactions.
- Assist advisors in preparing materials for client meetings, including performance reports, investment summaries, and relevant documentation.
- Participate in team projects assisting with initiatives designed to streamline firm procedures
Qualifications
- Four year college degree preferred (Bachelor s degree in Finance, Business or Economics)
- Up to 2 years of financial services experience, preferably with an RIA
- Familiarity with Charles Schwab, Fidelity and/or Raymond James preferred
- Familiarity with Orion, SalesForce, other financial technology, and industry regulations preferred
