Job Description:
The New York City office of Cozen O'Connor is seeking a full-time Clerk/Project Manager to support the Real Estate Department. The Cozen O'Connor Real Estate Group is looking for a well-organized and enthusiastic candidate with an interest in assisting a full-service commercial real estate group based in the premier real estate market in the country. We are looking for an addition to join our tight knit team to assist with an array of real estate transactions. This Clerk will work with both partners & associates, have an opportunity to gain legal experience, and learn the nuts and bolts a legal practice. Prior experience is not a requirement; however, we are looking for a highly motivated candidate who is eager to learn and build skills for a future career in the legal industry. Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with strategic planning, including marketing initiatives
  • Provide support for all phases of complex, high-level transactions
  • Proofreading, editing and drafting of routine legal documents
  • Maintaining and organizing files
Qualifications:
  • 0-3 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Expertise in written and verbal communication
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organization and scheduling skills
  • Discretion and an ability to handle confidential information
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize
The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 and represents the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications and location.
