SCOPE: Candidate will work in the claims department, analyzing delay claims brought against the State within a geographic region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the workload within the geographic region assigned to them independently and think critically to make contractual decisions.
REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field, or associates degree with 2 years experience in similar position, or 4 years experience in a similar position.
- Experience reading and interpreting construction schedules required.
- Similar position/s must include contract, project management and scheduling experience. Estimating experience preferred, but not required.
- Must have a driver's license valid in New York State and reliable means of transportation.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate with all management levels.
- Must have exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Some NYS travel required.
PAY RATE: $30.00-$62.00/Hourly Salary. Actual compensation will depend on the individuals qualifications, education, skills, and experience.
