In this role, you will:
- Organize and participate in recreational activities.
- Instruct children in health and personal activities.
- Observe and monitor children s play activities.
- Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas
- Support and encourage children s emotional and social development.
- Read to children, and teach them simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, and songs.
- Serve beverages and snacks to children and regulate rest periods.
- Identify signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and brings them to parents or guardians attention.
We require:
- Must have childcare experience with infants
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in child care services or preschool.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificates.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
- Good interpersonal skills to interact with coworkers, children, parents.
- Computer literacy--proficiency in MS Office Suite & EHR.
- Experience working with people from diverse racial, ethnic backgrounds.
