POSITION TITLEChief Product & Technology Officer, CareScout ServicesPOSITION LOCATIONThere is a strong preference for this role to be based in New York, NY (CareScout HQ) or Richmond, VA (Genworth HQ) with open consideration of remote candidates. HQ culture requires in-office presence 2-3 days per week. This role will require light travel.YOUR ROLEAs the Chief Product & Technology Officer and member of CareScouts senior leadership team, you will lead and develop Product, Technology, and Data vision, strategy, and execution for CareScout Services. Reporting directly to the business President & CEO, you will influence and leverage external and internal synergies across CareScout functions and leadership and other Genworth businesses to ensure product and technology alignment as we execute collaboratively toward results. Setting and overseeing all stages of product and technical development from conceptualization to post-launch performance. Defining product and technical requirements and systems architecture with clarity on feasibility, time, cost, and impact. Establishing a high performing, one-team product and technology culture and roadmap emphasizing innovation, growth, and development that addresses current customer needs while anticipating future market trends of the long-term care community Defining best practices around coding methodologies, software development, and quality assurance. Ensuring all internal processes and external services comply with security and privacy regulations. Defining and implementing a consistent and repeatable process for quality assurance across all areas of organization and product build. Identifying opportunities and challenges in the marketplace, with constant evaluation of technological advancements and innovation to mitigate impediments, drive success and generate revenue. Ensuring effective communication and informed alignment between the leadership team and other stakeholders. Collaborating with business and corporate leadership to ensure unified business product and technology strategies with overall corporate objectives and long-term vision and growth plans. Fostering an inclusive, customer-centric culture, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Acting as a public facing thought-leader, addressing prospective clients to understand their needs and/or acquire them as customers?What you bring Seasoned experience as a product and technology leader in a high growth, digital solutions organization, preferably healthcare focused, during the 0-1 or 1-10 phases of the organizations journey. 10+ years experience architecting & building products from pre-launch through maturity. Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline. Masters Degree preferred. Experience scaling related products, overseeing their build from MVP to mass scale. Proven success in creating and owning a wholistic product roadmap strategy. Understanding of how to prioritize timelines based on short-term customer needs vs. long-term growth initiatives. Deep understanding of a marketplace or dual-sided patient/provider network business model, ensuring efficient and optimal user experience for both the supply and demand side of the platform. Experience with building service-based architecture including use of micro services frameworks. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps and cloud infrastructure services. Focused analytical and problem-solving skills - including requirements analysis, debugging and risk assessment. Execution oriented mindset with evidence of driving fast impact and results. Exceptional leadership and team management acumen as a player-coach, with the ability to inspire and motivate lean teams to achieve results. Data-driven mindset, with demonstrated success in reporting on metrics to internal leaders and Board of Directors.Experience with software best practices in Engineering (e.g., Agile software development, test-driven development, unit testing, code reviews, design documentation). Object oriented design and development, building backend applications with REST API services using C#, Node.js. Service-based architecture design and development (micro-services architecture a plus) and integration with existing systems/applications (legacy and API) and third party systems. Azure Data Factory (strongly preferred).

The base salary pay range for this role starts at a minimum rate of $275,000 up to the maximum of $325,000. An employees pay position within the base salary pay range will be based on several factors at the time of this job posting including but not limited to geographic location, experience, and qualifications. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in both annual and long-term incentive plans. The incentive plans are based on performance with earning opportunities under each plan targeting 40% of your base compensation. The final determination on base pay for this position will be based on multiple factors to ensure pay equity within the organization.
