Job Description:

Our client, a distinguished and expanding Home Care agency in Brooklyn, NY, seeks an experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their executive leadership team. As a key member of the leadership group, the COO will play a crucial role in overseeing the non-medical home care operations across multiple states, with a strong focus on growth, quality measures, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Home Care Expertise: Possess extensive experience and knowledge in the home care industry, with a background in LHCSA, CHHA, or MLTC.
  • Operations Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, overseeing 12 agencies in 7 states, primarily on the east coast.
  • Spearhead the growth of offices and teams.
  • Strategic Leadership: Work closely with the CEO, CFO, and ownership to develop and execute the company's vision and strategy.
  • Act as the primary leader for vision-related initiatives and collaborate with the owner on strategy implementation.
  • Initiative Implementation: Lead the implementation and rollout of key initiatives and projects.
  • Ensure timely execution without overthinking, addressing challenges efficiently.
  • Metrics and Quality Management: Provide oversight of agency metrics, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs), and implementing plans to improve operations.
  • Develop and implement quality measures and audits across all agencies.
  • Value-Based Payment Initiatives: Develop and implement Value-Based Payment initiatives and measures.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Build and maintain positive relationships with Directors, leadership, and teams.
  • Act as an escalation point and resource for all agencies, offering assistance and guidance.
  • Adaptive and Growth Mindset: Demonstrate a growth-minded attitude and flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances.
  • Quickly adjust and implement strategies to foster continuous growth.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Senior Leadership role within the home care industry.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams.
