A health services network in New York City is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Physician to join their team as a Chief Medical Officer (CMO).About the Opportunity:
- Setting: Outpatient
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Patient Population: LGBTQ+ and HIV
Responsibilities:The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will:
- Ensure highest standards of clinical care and compliance with healthcare regulations, overseeing clinical staff performance
- Provide clinical leadership and vision, establishing and maintaining quality standards for LGBTQ+ community health services
- Develop and recommend policies, procedures, and quality assurance plans to the Board of Directors
- Supervise clinical leadership and collaborate with site leaders to strengthen referral relationships
- Lead organizational growth initiatives, including program development and funding sourcing
- Represent organization externally in media, advocacy, and community health education
- Oversee incident resolution, quality improvement programs, and risk management
- Contribute to strategic planning, budget development, and grant proposal writing
Qualifications:
- Licensed in the State of New York
- Board-Certified Primary Care Physician
- 10+ years of clinical leadership and experience
- HIV Specialist
- knowledge of LGBTQ+ community health and care for individuals experiencing homelessness
- Proven visionary leadership with strong administrative and organizational abilities
- Demonstrated dedication to advancing health equity and justice
