SALARY:$30.88 per hour averaged

($26.47 base rate for first 8 hours; next 4.25 hours paid at 1.5 rate of $39.70)

SHIFT:Willingness to work rotating shifts required (days, afternoons, midnights).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate and maintain washers, wastewater treatment, close loop systems, cooling towers, and bulk storage to full operating potential and other duties as required.
  • Perform mandatory sampling requirements and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Assist with environmental tasks as needed.
  • Promote process improvement through root cause analysis and completing actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Provides coaching, troubleshooting, and training to other CPOs and Team Members.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Working knowledge of Basic Mechanics and aligning gear-box motors and drives
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Working knowledge of pumps and piping. (How to rebuild and repair)
  • Must attend Hazardous Waste, DOT and Wastewater Treatment training courses.
  • Must be able to obtain a Pesticide Applicators license.
  • Experience performing basic chemical lab procedures, i.e. pH measurements acid and base titrations (preferred).
  • Technical knowledge of chemicals and Wastewater Treatment Operations (preferred).
  • Knowledge of environmental reporting procedures and awareness of wastewater permit requirements (preferred).
  • Former use of SAP (preferred)
