Who s the business:

Zanda is partnering with a Series B digital health company to enhance the accessibility and efficiency when looking for the best healthcare service that matches the needs of their patients. Their core values revolve around revolutionizing traditional practices by eliminating waiting lists, empowering patients, and focusing on community.

What experience will you gain:

Working closely with the CEO, this role will focus on overseeing financial modelling and delivery, commercial insight and analysis and establishing financial processes to support business strategy.

You will be instrumental in designing as well as implementing a cost-efficient financial strategy to ensure the company realises its growth potential. You will therefore be key in directing the Founder via analytics to ensure this strategy is executed.

In addition to commercial reporting, you will be leading the control function and ensuring the team reports to tight deadlines and that they are developed. Due to the rapid expansion of this business and of course the envisaged growth, there is a need to put in place more robust controls, processes and systems.

The CEO wants this CFO to create a commercial business partnering function that can have an impact on the business.

What background should have before you press apply!

You will be based in New York and CPA or MBA qualified professional, with experience of working for a high-growth tech business, a must have. You will need to have had experience of being a strong commercial business partner, with exposure to planning, forecasting and trend analysis. If you have gained funding experience then that would be a bonus. A controls understanding as well as the ability to initiate change management practices across this function is a must have. Preferreably you have experience within the health insurance market. A strong leader is required that can successfully manage as well as develop staff.
