Job Summary As a Catering Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the Catering Department in all duties including training new associates, overseeing event set-ups, and directing any temporary personnel in addition to their everyday assignments. This role will be based in New York, NY. This awesome position offers:Unlimited growth with the Compass GroupWork /Life balance - Monday- Friday daytime hoursExcellent benefits & perks A positive and supportive team environmentThe great things you'll do: Produce and send daily production sheet for assigned locationMaintain catering payroll: process time off requests, maintain staff schedule calendar, fix unauthorized timesheets, track missed punches, update MyStaff schedulesMaintain Mobius signage: coordinate with Sous Chefs/Kitchen Leads to update Mobius signage for the following day, print and packet signage for the following day's events once updatedPrint, mark, and walk BEO packets and revisions to appropriate culinary team membersComplete weekly table request form for assigned location and work with Catering and Facilities Managers to ensure that the correct tables are dropped at the appropriate place/timePrepare cafe reservation signage and ensure placement by the cafe teamPlace weekly orders for CxRA staffing, Party Rental, and Kosher Act as point of contact for all Party Rental deliveries and pickups at assigned location Alert reception of any CxRA staff that will be arriving onsite and manage badging process for assigned locationCommunicate time and location of CxRA staff arrival with captains/managers and sure pickup is placed on the board and assigned and complete CxRA timesheets Input and update billing for MK spaces such as Cloud, ASL, etcPrint and mark the following day's catering board for assigned locationCreate pickup checklist for assigned location for closing captainPrint, collect, and file cafe closing checklist for closing captainMaintain catering invoicing as neededCommunicate with all catering culinary, management, and associate staff members via verbal and written channelsWhat we look for in the perfect candidate Bachelor's Degree or equivalent on the job experience preferred1-2 years of operations or administrative experience, hospitality industry preferredConcise, clear, and professional thinker, writer, and speakerExceptional organizational skillsExceptional problem solving skillsApply to Restaurant Associates todayRestaurant Associates is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
