Capital Markets Associate

Global X ETFs, the New York-based provider of Exchange Traded Funds and Great Place to Work Certified company, is seeking a Capital Markets Associate to join our team. The Associate is expected to be an impactful contributor to the firm and will gain exposure to the firm s 90+ ETFs, including those in our Thematic, Income, Commodities, International Access, and Core suites.

Key Responsibilities:

• support to strategic Capital Markets relationships: Market Makers, Authorized Participants, ETF Sales & Trading Desks, Exchanges, Data Providers
• live trading metrics (Bid/Ask Spread, Premium/Discount, Volume, etc.) and analyze the impact of market trends and client demand on Global X s product suite.
• facilitate client orders and provide liquidity commentary for our funds.
• answers to inbound questions from the Sales team related to fund performance, trading metrics, and sales opportunities.
• and review internal documents focused on daily trading information for all Global X ETFs
• monitor and analyze regulatory filings, third party research, news reports, industries, and companies relevant to our funds or direct competitors
• weekly and ad-hoc notes and analysis for the Capital Markets Team
• Global X's entrepreneurial and client-first culture.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• degree with a major in business, economics, engineering, finance, mathematics, computer science, or related fields
• using specialized financial software, such as Bloomberg.
• interest and fluency in financial markets and current events.
• at synthesizing and concisely communicating ideas to various audiences.
• written and verbal communication skills
• project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Our Offering

Global X offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Global X is a fast-paced environment geared towards performance and attractive career opportunities, with an open corporate culture that values and rewards the contributions of every individual. The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. In addition, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and competitive benefits package. The total compensation package for this position may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
