**Buyer/Curator, Subscriptions - Outdoor, Everyday Carry**
New York / Commerce Buying & Merchandising / Full-Time Bespoke Post is a lifestyle brand dedicated to helping our members discover under-the-radar Goods and Guidance that enrich their day to day experiences. Through our innovative subscription commerce & e-commerce platform, we combine lifestyle goods with immersive content to ignite curiosity and confidence in our customers. Were looking for a creative and energetic person to help in scaling our subscription e-commerce business. As a Box Buyer/Curator youll work across a wide range of tasks, owning all steps of the buying process including ideating, planning, purchasing, and executing on our boxes.
This isnt a traditional buying role. Our team curates several unique Boxes each month and each Box will reach thousands of people. The Box Buyer/Curator will have a lot of creative ownership over which items go into our customers hands, and we need someone with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and stellar negotiation skills. + Has at least 3-4 years e-commerce, merchandising, sales, or sourcing experience working in non-apparel lifestyle categories.
+ Either has experience working with outdoor products or shows a genuine passion for the outdoors.
+ Loves to negotiate.
+ Has exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously with ease.
+ Has strong presentation skills, executive presence, and grace under pressure.
+ Has a no task is beneath me attitude. We all roll up our sleeves here to complete work as needed.
+ Will thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with frequent, regularly scheduled deadlines. Youre flexible and can adapt to shifting goals while handling a wide variety of tasks and maintaining an attention to detail.
+ Can see the big pictureyou should be able to think strategically and execute on initiatives to grow the overall Subscription business.
+ Has excellent communication skills and loves collaborating across different departments.
+ Is excited to grow over time, taking on new responsibilities and roles as the company evolves (which it inevitably will!).
+ Has a personal passion and an eye for great product, design, and merchandising in general.
