Business Development Executive M&A New York
Angove Partners is partnering with a global insurance broker, seeking a Business Development Executive in New York.
About the role:
As a member of the business development team, the Business Development Executive will handle a variety of workstreams in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. The role will be very hands-on, and the successful candidate will play a critical role in facilitating interactions between the insurance brokerage firms and private equity firms and other potential clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Act as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for private equity firms, establishing and nurturing strong partnerships.
- Develop a deep understanding of the private equity industry, including its dynamics, trends, and challenges related to insurance and employee benefits.
- Collaborate with private equity firms to understand their specific needs and requirements for insurance and employee benefits due diligence during M&A activities.
- Conduct strategic sales activities, including presentations, negotiations, and relationship-building efforts, to promote insurance brokerage services and secure new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriters, brokers, and analysts, to ensure a seamless transition from due diligence to post-closing insurance brokerage services.
About you:
- Experience in Sales Industry, with demonstrated sales success.
- Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
