A professional services firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their staff as their new Business Advisory Services Senior / Manager. Responsibilities: The Business Advisory Services Senior / Manager will:
- Prepare taxclosings, compilations, closing of books, reviews, and tax preparation
- Assist with the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap-up
- Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel
- Communicate with Manager, and/or Director on work status and client issues that arise
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a Public Accounting firm and/or related setting
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA and/or part passed
- Intermediate understanding of Accounting & Reporting standards
- Microsoft Office Suite proficient
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills:
- Working knowledge of ProFx, Caseware, and Go File Room
