We are looking for a candidate who can sell with minimal supervision to contractors, consultants, and building owners. This candidate must have a network of industry contacts and the ability to foster customer relationships in the Northern New Jersey area.

**Duties**

* Establish and maintain relationships with key Consulting Engineers, Mechanical Contractors and Building Owners with the intent to sell and grow the Building Automation Business in the Northern New Jersey area.

* Aid and work with Consulting Engineers with writing Control Specifications.

* Attend pre-bid Job meetings, Job walks and client meetings to assess project requirements.

* Estimate and develop proposals for new installation or retro-fit control projects and service contracts.

* Conduct presentations to perspective clients, engineers, and contractors.

* Work with and negotiate with sub-contractors and purchases with electrical contractors and vendors.

* Assist the installation team in developing 100% customer satisfaction.

**Qualifications**

* B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science preferred.

* Minimum of 4 years previous sales experience in construction or service of Building Automation and Control Systems, integration, and EPMS in mission critical and commercial facilities.

* Must be fluent in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

* Knowledge of Visio and or AutoCAD a plus.

* BACnet Control Systems Sales experience a plus.
