We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing Finance team in our Teaneck, NJ office.

We are looking for a skilled bookkeeper to maintain our day-to-day financial records, including AP and vendor Payments, working cross-functionally with our Sr. Billing and Collections Analyst and reconciliation.

A day in the life and how you ll make an impact:

  • Manage the day-to-day bookkeeping, maintaining the books up to balance.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and vendor payments. Working closely with Sr. Billing and Collections Analyst on the Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoice processing.
  • Manage Travel and Expense system in Navan.
  • Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Maintain the Fixed Assets ledger.
  • Generate financial reports summarizing the company's financial status and transactions.
  • Assist the corporate controller with month-end procedures and with external auditors for annual audits.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
  • Stay updated with accounting regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll via ADP Payroll System.
  • Responsible for the annual 1099 process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a full-charge bookkeeper or similar role in financial services.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, preferably priority and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of payroll software, preferably ADP.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to resolve accounting discrepancies effectively.
