Conduct experiments to identify and validate drug targets. Support assay design, optimization, validation, and data analyses. Design and execute molecular and cell biology experiments. Troubleshoot and analyze complex data in support of drug discovery projects. Quals The Research Associate will support the validation of Client therapeutic candidates by performing hands-on, bench-level research involving both cell culture and tissue-based experiments, as well as sample processing and analyses from in vivo animal studies. The successful candidate will work with the Preclinical R&D team to coordinate in vivo studies with contract research organizations (CROs) and manage sample inventory. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Carry out in vitro studies and support analysis from in vivo studies Manage studies conducted by CROs, and with academic collaborators, including shipment coordination and sample inventory management Train new team members in use of equipment, laboratory procedures and protocols as needed Critically assess data generated from diverse experimental approaches in cell and molecular biology Requirements Bachelors with 2+ years/Masters with 1+ years of work experience in academia/industry preferably in neuroscience. Experience performing basic techniques in molecular biology and cell biology, including qRT-PCR and immunoassays Ability to think critically and creatively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative scientific environment
