Job Title: Bilingual Senior Accountant

Position Overview:
The Controller will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting operations for our restaurant chain.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management.
- Monitor and review financial performance against budget and forecast.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the annual budgeting process.
- Prepare financial forecasts and variance analyses.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
- Accounting Operations: Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions and reporting.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury operations.
- Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Coordinate audits and prepare audit schedules and financial statements.
- Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor accounting and finance staff.
- Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
