Position Overview:

The Admissions Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the admissions office during evening hours, including open and closing procedures, supervision of the admissions team, inventory management, and ensuring seamless prospect handling from lead to enrollment. This role involves collaborating closely with the academic, accounting, and operations teams to ensure adherence to state and accreditation standards while maintaining a high level of student satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Open and close the admissions office during evening hours, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed efficiently.

2. Supervise the admissions team during evening shifts, providing guidance and support as needed.

3. Manage inventory of admissions materials and resources.

4. Ensure all prospects receive comprehensive support throughout the enrollment process, from initial inquiry to enrollment, during evening hours.

5. Provide timely operations reports as required by deadlines.

6. Collaborate with department chairs and academic teams to streamline processes and ensure alignment with academic goals.

7. Manage daily correspondence, telephone follow-up, emails, and inquiries from prospective students during evening hours.

8. Implement and maintain compliance with state and accreditation standards during evening shifts.

9. Develop and implement an effective, streamlined admissions process during evening hours to ensure compliance and student satisfaction.

10. Meet performance expectations for customer service, teamwork, resource utilization, and staff and self-development.

11. Manage team processes, including workflows and information uploads, during evening shifts.

12. Work on projects involving report writing, data collection and analysis, and presentation creation, with a focus on evening operations.

13. Proactively provide recommendations for process improvements, tracking workflows, diagnosing issues, and identifying solutions.

14. Demonstrate excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.

15. Work effectively with diverse student populations.

16. Extrapolate and tabulate data from online databases.

17. Proficiency in educational technology and student information systems.

18. Prioritize job tasks effectively.

19. Exhibit strong leadership and team management skills.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, Business Administration, etc.).

- Previous experience in admissions or related field preferred.

- Familiarity with state and accreditation standards.

- Proficiency in educational technology and student information systems.

- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.

- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
