Job Description:

An education network in Westchester County is currently seeking a new Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) to join their growing team. In this role, the Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) will be responsible for developing plans and strategies to improve students' academic performance, mental health and social development in accordance with ITEPs (Individualized Transdisciplinary Education Plan).About the Opportunity:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Assignment Length: Contract to Hire
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8:15am to 4:15pm
  • Patient Volume: 82 in total school
  • EMR: Azimuth SIS

Responsibilities:The Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA)

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and reassessments of a student's functional, behavioral, emotional needs
  • Develop, implement and support data collection systems for students across academic, community and campus life areas as relevant and necessary
  • Analyze data and progress of students regarding their ongoing functional, behavioral and emotional needs
  • Work with the students in their environment, requiring flexible clinical processes and scheduling requiring 'after hours' and occasional week-end availability
  • Provide Crisis management and Classroom push in/pull out support as necessary
  • Proactively maintain open lines of communication with care providers, students, family members to effectively address student progress, development and emergencies, as needed
  • Participate as needed in community and professional education regarding clinical matters, life skills independence and related areas
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Clinical, Educational, Psychology, School Psychology, and/or a related field
  • NYS Behavioral Analyst license
  • Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities
  • Solid assessment and documentation skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working with the Pediatric population
  • Experience working with the IDD and/or Autism population
  • Experience in a School setting
