A barback is equivalent to the bar's busser.
Some responsibilities may include:
-Replenishing bars with everything they need before, during and after service. This includes but isnt limited to restocking liquor and wine, changing out beer kegs, watching & restocking garnish, syrups, napkins, straws, etc.
-Cleaning and organizing liquor room, beer storage area, wine storage and dry goods area
-Cleaning everything else....everything from counters, dishes, glassware, tools, floors, etc.
-Taking out the garbage
-Tending to emergencies like: cleaning broken glass, clogged drains, spills and unexpected messes, etc.
-Relaying information to / from the kitchen, security, the bar, etc.
Hourly position plus tips.
No experience required.
Locally owned business with a fun, motivated staff.
Must be available nights and weekends.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more.
**Requirements**
High School graduate or equivalent preferred
Must be 18 years of age or older
Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience
Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
