Candidates must be available to work through the fall season. We offer flexible hours and can work around a school schedule. Hiring full-time, part-time and weekends!

**Summary of Responsibilities:**

The Food and Beverage Supervisor will supervise service personnel in their respective outlet to ensure Member and Guest satisfaction standards are being upheld. Assure a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of dining outlets. Supervise and train service personnel, manage within budgetary restraints, and assist in development and implementation of programs to increase revenues. Enhancing lives of Members and Guests with WOW moments they can't live without.

**Essential Functions:**

* Trains, supervises and evaluates service personnel

* Assign stations and side work to staff in accordance with procedures

+ Ensure all side work is accomplished according to schedule

+ Ensure all cleaning of equipment and storage areas is completed according to schedule

* Ensure staff members are in proper uniform/attire prior to shift

* Assist in the monitoring of dining room labor and supplies budget; make adjustments to achieve financial goals

* Communicate with staff any changes, announcements, etc.

+ Assists with pre-show meetings with service personnel. Relays necessary information and policy changes.

* Provide feedback on staff performance

* Assist in the development and updating of policy and procedure manuals for service personnel to increase quality of service

* Assist during service and table side as needed

* Greet Members and Guests immediately upon arrival

* Suggests and describes available appetizers, entrees, desserts, alcoholic beverages and wines to Members and Guests

* Suggests dining room decorations for special themes

* Ensure appearance and cleanliness standards are met in dining outlet

* Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding food and beverage quality and service

* Act as liaison between wait staff and kitchen staff

* Make suggestions regarding improvement for procedures, dining, layout etc.

* Assist in pre-shift meetings

* Ensure compliance with all departmental and Club polices and procedures

* Ensure that dining and other club areas are secure at the end of the business day

* Maintain an inventory of respective linen, silverware, coffee, water pitchers etc.

* Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

**Required Education/Experience:**

* High School Graduate or equivalent

* Bachelor's Degree preferred

* Previous Food and Beverage experience

* Previous Country Club experience preferred (Minimum 3 years)

* Previous Supervisory experience (Minimum 2 years)

* Point of Sale Operating System (JONAS or Club Essentials preferred)

* Scheduling software (Hot Schedules preferred)

**Required Qualifications:**

* Must be at least 18 years of age

* Must be able to communicate and understand the predominant language of our members and guests.

* Must be able to stack chairs and move tables

* Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

* Ability to lift and carry trays/objects weighing up 30+ pounds through a crowded room

* Ability to handle many tasks at once

* Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe and lift to perform job functions

* Must be a team player; possess the ability to collaborate and work well with others

**Physical Requirements:**

* Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
