Exciting opportunity as a Bakery Manager for our Morris Plains, NJ Store! Responsible for baking gourmet recipes for cakes, cookies, pies, and more. Our new leader will be responsible for hiring, training and scheduling bakery staff to ensure full operations of the bakery department. The Bakery Manager should be able to achieve exceptional customer service and enforce staff compliance with food health and safety regulations.Responsibilities
- Bake gourmet recipes for cakes, tarts, cookies, pies, and other bakery goods
- Conduct interviews and hire suitable bakery staff
- Ensure orders for specialty cakes are completed on time
- Stock bakery with quality ingredients and supplies
- Clean and sanitize baking tools, utensils, and equipment
- Create work schedules for staff members
- Train staff in proper food handling procedures
- Inspect bakery items for quality and aesthetic appeal
- Resolve customer complaints professionally
- Other duties as assigned
