Job Description
This position is to lead from technical perspective the reports automation and data analysis related efforts to support the ERM-RDA Team Lead in running the overall RDA program at the bank. The main responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, analyzing business requirements and developing the codes for reports automation, conducting data analysis with risk/business data from various systems, creating data visualization with business intelligence tools, leading the data related testing in the user acceptance test in the relevant IT system implementation projects, and working closely with IT team to support data issue investigation and resolutions, etc.
Job Duties
Include but are not limited to:
Data Analysis and Risk Reporting
Lead the junior team members from technical perspective in reports automation and data analysis related work, such as creating plans with specific actions in line with the team s overall prioritization, guiding the junior members in their assignments, and reviewing their work to provide feedback, etc.
RDA Program Management
Facilitate with the RDA Program Management related activities and initiatives, e.g. RDA Working Group (WG) related activities, gap analysis and self-evaluations against the RDA regulatory requirements
Contribute to the implementation of the RDA compliance actions and coordination with other relevant systems
Support the RDA related requests from the Head Office and/or regulators
Job Requirements
A Bachelor s Degree is required; majors of Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analysis, Statistics, Finance, Economics, and related majors are preferred. Master s Degree is preferred.
Banking experiences and management experiences required.
5-10 years of data analysis, business analysis and reporting experiences preferred; 5-10 years of system development/project management related experiences preferred; 5-10 years of financial and banking industry (preferably in risk management) is a plus.
Demonstrate solid coding and programming skills, such as SQL, Python, etc., and strong data analysis skills to work with large scale of dataset and systems
Demonstrate database and information systems related knowledge, such as server database, data warehousing concepts, financial industry and products related knowledge, such as banking and lending products, and risk management related knowledge, such as credit risk and market risk.
Demonstrate general understanding of financial regulatory compliance requirements, such as BCBS 239, etc.
CBAP, FRM, PMP or CFA certification preferred.
Bilingual ability in Chinese is preferred but not required.
The salary ranges for the AVP position is $65,000-$150,000, and for the VP position is $110,000-$230,000. Actual salary is commensurate with candidate s relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.
