Job DescriptionRole: Sec Finance Ops Jefferies is seeking an individual with experience in various areas of both international and domestic security finance operations. Focusing on day-to-day processing, communicating with the sales desk on all concerns along with supervision of multiple functions within the stock loan space. Interacting with other departments within the operations team along with the outsourcing team to resolve issues and promote business expansion. Responsibilities
  • Supporting end to end lifecycle of US / INTL Securities Finance space.
  • Daily processing of mark to markets, contract compare, rates changes, recalls, buy ins, returns, and firm balancing.
  • Monitor firm out of balances, breaks and daily metrics.
  • Reconciling and monitoring the non-cash collateral business involving stock borrow, loan triparty repo and reverse repo transactions.
  • Working with management and front office on all new business initiatives.
  • Assisting with internal and external audits - involving contract compare, marks and rebates / billing.
  • Assist in response to regulatory inquiries.
  • Understanding of the fully paid lending module and lending of re-hypothecated positions.
  • Knowledge of the monthly rebates / billing process and resolving discrepancies as they arise by working with the trading desk and our counter parties.
  • Assist the outsourcing team with new processes and documentation of procedures.
  • Ability to process and understand the inventory management tool within SmartLoan, including account codes, client account maintenance, view and adjust screens.
  • Oversighting announced Fed rate movements for accuracy.
Requirements / Skills/ Expertise
  • 5+ years of experience in various areas of both INTL and domestic Sec Finance.
  • Experience with Broadridge BPS, customer asset protection, and stock record knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge with SmartLoan, Loanet, DTC, Equilend and Global One.
  • Experience with Microsoft product suite required.
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $100,000 - $130,000 The salary offered will take into consideration an individual's experience level and qualifications.
