Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate the Paint and Body Shop. This includes but is not limited to performing surface restoration and painting ride gondolas and park vehicles.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager in determining budgets for the Paint Booth to include adequate expenses in labor and supplies.
- Possess knowledge in the proper ways of painting many different types of materials; repairing damaged materials including wood, plastic, fiberglass, sheet metal, etc.; mixing paints to create necessary colors; and operating paint mixers, sprayers, compressors, and ventilation systems.
- To keep all assigned vehicles and equipment clean, safe, and professional-looking.
- To operate within the policies and procedures of Six Flags Darien Lake.
- Must have the ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop for long periods of time and lift 50# without injury. Must also be able to work outside in the elements. If prosthesis is needed to meet these requirements, it must be used while on duty.
- Must possess a valid NYS Driver s License.
- Perform any other duties as required by the Sign Shop Supervisor.
