Job Description:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Work Experience:
  • 2 years of relevant work experience in auditing, accounting, or a related field.
Job Duties:
  • Provide office and administrative support for staff of the Bureau of Early Intervention's Provider Approval, Due Process, and Monitoring Unit.
  • Answer and triage phone calls for the PAU unit, directing inquiries to appropriate staff members.
  • Monitor and manage the unit's shared electronic mail log, ensuring inquiries are addressed promptly.
  • Scan and upload documents, maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with initial screening and tracking of individual applications.
  • Format and type a variety of documents for PAU staff, ensuring accuracy.
  • Create and mail letters to early intervention providers on a monthly basis.
  • Utilize the State Data System for research, data entry, and review of provider documentation.
  • Communicate with approved providers and applicants as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using office machines including multiphone lines, copiers, fax/scanners.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced office environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize workloads, multitask, and complete assignments within short timeframes.
Misc. Information:
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (40-hour work week) or 9:00am - 5:00pm (37.5-hour work week)
  • Parking: Employee-paid parking through Office of General Services (OGS) parking program is available for all agency employees.
  • Public transportation (CDTA) is accessible.
  • Interview will be conducted in person or via online based on the availability.
