Blacklock Financial are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Turnaround and Restructuring Associate to join a strong, mid market generalist firm. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling to assess the financial health of client organizations and identify areas of improvement.
- Assist in the development and execution of turnaround and restructuring strategies, including operational restructuring, cost reduction initiatives, and liquidity management.
- Support the preparation of client presentations, reports, and other deliverables, summarizing findings, recommendations, and action plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement turnaround initiatives and monitor progress against established milestones and targets.
- Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitor performance, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for value creation.
- Assist in the management of client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact and maintaining regular communication to ensure alignment with client objectives and expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- 2-5 years of experience in financial advisory, restructuring, investment banking, or management consulting, preferably with exposure to turnaround and restructuring engagements.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members at all levels.
- Proactive attitude with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
