Job Description:

Blacklock Financial are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Turnaround and Restructuring Associate to join a strong, mid market generalist firm. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging and impactful projects, collaborating with experienced professionals to drive positive change and deliver measurable results for clients.

Positions: Associate/Senior Associate/Vice President

Locations: New York, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, LA, Atlanta

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling to assess the financial health of client organizations and identify areas of improvement.
  • Assist in the development and execution of turnaround and restructuring strategies, including operational restructuring, cost reduction initiatives, and liquidity management.
  • Support the preparation of client presentations, reports, and other deliverables, summarizing findings, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement turnaround initiatives and monitor progress against established milestones and targets.
  • Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitor performance, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for value creation.
  • Assist in the management of client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact and maintaining regular communication to ensure alignment with client objectives and expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial advisory, restructuring, investment banking, or management consulting, preferably with exposure to turnaround and restructuring engagements.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members at all levels.
  • Proactive attitude with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
