The Cookware Company is seeking an Associate Graphic Designer to join the dynamic Creative/Marketing team! This is a hybrid role located in Irvington, NY.

Role Overview

The Associate Graphic Designer will work with creative/marketing and product teams to produce design solutions from ideation to completion for our packaged consumer goods. The ideal candidate will be a conceptual thinker with strong organizational and prioritization skills, able to produce high-quality work, meet tight deadlines, and manage their own workload. You ll support the department in design related tasks including, but not limited to: conceptualizing, photo editing, production, and file management.

This position requires working with internal clients, and there is frequent interaction with other functional departments: Marketing, Product and Sales.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Graphic Design, but not necessary if experience and portfolio warrant.
  • 2+ years of working experience as a graphic designer, preferred experience Print/Package design for consumer product goods.
  • Strong portfolio or work samples related to Print/Packaging design.
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (illustrator, photoshop, and InDesign).
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to multi-task often under tight deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of printing processes (4 colors, spot colors, mechanical preparation, paper stock, and file formats).
  • Clear understanding of print expectations, including, bleeds, die lines, retouching, formats, resolution, etc.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, often under tight deadlines.
  • Passionate about design and excited to work on print and ADHOC digital projects.
