Job Description:

About us About Cheil Cheil Worldwide is the 10 th -largest creative agency in the world. Headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, Cheil was founded by Samsung in 1973 to grow its local and global business. We are driven by our passion to create mind-blowing ideas, technologies, and one-of-a-kind experiences by connecting advertising with digital; online and offline; data and events; and consumers and brands. We call this CONNEC+, our DNA that takes us above and beyond. Cheil North America has offices in NYC, Dallas, and Toronto, and serves as the lead agency for all Samsung projects across the continent. Collectively, we are a unified force of creative problem-solvers who share a passion for developing ground-breaking ideas rooted in data, driven by insights, and enabled by innovative technology. Join us in a place where creativity meets grounded innovation, where you don't just react, but instead spearhead the future of brand narratives. Here, your curiosity unlocks doors, your insights pave paths, and world-class campaigns follow the north star you chart. We want you to help us shape these ideas, using storytelling, data, and consumer advocacy to look beyond the conventional and do the never-been-done. About you You are a business-minded storyteller, who not only understands the intersection of Brand and Consumers, but the specific ecosystems within that intersection that drive how engagements take place. You're less interested in coming up with the ah-ha for the :30 spot, and more interested in driving the nuances of a brand's business (revenue!) objectives. You understand that today's modern marketing environment not only requires, but demands, that Brand is Performance and Performance is Brand. You are a master of the today's digital landscape - which is to say, you're at least multiple steps ahead of what is now, because you know that being only in the present means you're already too late or far behind not only the Brand's competitors but its own consumers! You bring all these expert skills to bear...on paper...on slides. You communicate those brilliant ideas that could oftentimes be complex or circuitous, into a beautiful rational story that clearly shows purpose, drive and outcomes. You know how to frame that story so that it unfolds in the slideware that you are a master of creating. Responsibilities

Proactively lead and deliver plans that guide brand objectives and how they are accomplished, including primary and secondary research, audience segmentation, message development, creative briefing, measurement, and performance analysis.

  • Build vision: Contribute to strategy thought leadership, internally and externally. Help educate colleagues and clients on trending developments, consumers, brand, and cultural landscape and opportunities to use these perspectives to improve the work we do.
  • Pitch new business: Assist with our portfolio expansion through formal new business processes, preparing and presenting in RFPs, pitches, and project proposals.
  • Add to our strategy discipline: Contribute to and foster a radically open, smart, and kind culture. Find opportunities to refine how our brand strategy team works, co-anchoring our growth in insightful programs and strong creative work.

  • Collaborative knack with creatives in ideation and campaign development.
  • Expertise across multichannel platforms and the ability to convert insights into actionable briefs.
  • Proactiveness in anticipating business challenges and addressing them.
  • Proficiency in data metrics, KPIs, analytics, and insight-driven optimizations.
  • Versatility across agency roles: brand, digital, retail, and influencer strategy.
  • Stellar communication skills.
  • Proven collaboration with senior leadership within the agency and clients.
  • Strong grasp of how media platforms complement each other in an integrated strategy.
