Job Description:

As the Associate Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management at our plant location. Working closely with leadership, you will develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and promote a high-performance culture.

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment: Lead recruitment efforts for plant positions, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to making hiring decisions. Develop innovative strategies to attract top talent and ensure a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters. Handle employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution in a fair and consistent manner.

Performance Management: Oversee performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions. Implement initiatives to drive employee engagement and improve overall performance.

Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. Collaborate with department managers to create individual development plans and succession pipelines.

HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HR activities, such as employee files, payroll, and benefits administration.

Employee Benefits: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and wellness initiatives. Partner with benefits providers to optimize offerings and address employee needs.

HR Analytics and Reporting: Utilize HR metrics and data analytics to track key performance indicators and assess the effectiveness of HR programs. Generate reports and insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)

12+ years of progressive HR experience, with 5 years in a leadership role

Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels

Demonstrated leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
