Simpson Judge have partnered with a highly reputable, leading Plaintiff Personal Injury Law Firm who are seeking a passionate Personal Injury Attorney to join their firm based in Manhattan.

Due to increased work demands, the firm are growing their department and are looking for an ambitious Associate Attorney with at least 3 years experience within personal injury to join their firm. This would be a great opportunity for someone looking to further their career with a supportive and opportunistic firm, gaining exposure to high-quality and high-value matters.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a high-volume caseload of mixed complexity plaintiff personal injury claims including construction, labour law, slip & fall, automobile and more
• Advise clients and liaise with relevant third parties
• Manage and prioritise a busy schedule including arranging meetings and meeting deadlines
• Review and draft important legal documents such as pleadings, discovery demands, motions etc.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, negotiations and court appearances

Qualifications:

• J.D. obtained from an ABA accredited School of Law
• 3+ Years experience within Personal Injury
• Trial experience is a bonus
• Admitted to practice in New York, and ideally New Jersey
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills
• Strong organisation with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Detail orientated with strong analytical skills
