Job Description:
As a division of Quality and Safety, Data and Analytics (DnA) strives to empower NYC Health + Hospitals and its partners with data and digital tools, AI capabilities and insights to drive quality and performance improvements, support enterprise operations, and enhance patient outcomes. The DnA effort optimizes the data governance infrastructure and utilization of data to drive decision-making and System-wide innovation.
Reporting directly to the Chief Data Officer (CDO), the AVP will Collaborate with senior DnA leadership to define organizational goals and objectives related to data and AI. This role will engage in business case analysis and will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, vendor selection and product development process, and the successful launch of data and AI products/solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving high value impact to H+H. Additionally, she/he will be driving operational excellence, streamlining workflows, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. A Master's degree in hospital administration, health care planning, business administration, public administration or an approved related program and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in health and medical service administration, public administration, n, personnel and labor relations, finance or appropriate functional discipline with an emphasis on planning, liaison and interorganizational relationships, or related administrative or managerial functions; or
2. A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in health and medical service administration, public administration, personnel and labor relations, finance or appropriate functional discipline with an emphasis on planning, liaison and interorganizational relationships, or related administrative or managerial functions; or
3. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and experience. However, all candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor s Degree.
