Job Summary:

The Associate Vice President will be responsible for identifying and evaluating partnership and investment opportunities in the real estate, construction, and prop-tech industries. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of international real estate markets, a proven track record of executing complex projects and investments, and experience managing relationships with external partners. The role is a balance between business development / investment attraction, high level financial analysis, business strategy, and stakeholder management. The position will require building and managing potential and current stakeholder relationships with businesses within the Local Real Estate Investment Division s (LREID) targeted sectors to find new investment opportunities. The role requires a high degree of diplomacy, organization, and attention to detail.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Investment Sourcing:

  • Identify and pursue investment opportunities tailored to the Local Real Estate team, leveraging an in-depth understanding of client preferences and objectives.
  • Engage in proactive business development activities to uncover new investment prospects and potential partnerships.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of investment opportunities for team and report on these opportunities.
  • Craft compelling presentations and materials for meetings and client pitches.

Market Research and Strategy:

  • Stay informed about market trends and industry developments through thorough research on companies and sectors to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Keep abreast of global market trends and regulatory changes that may impact investment opportunities in the U.S. and MENA. Regions.
  • Produce detailed reports, summaries, and investment proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilize exceptional writing and editing skills to articulate complex information clearly and effectively.

Conferences/Roadshows:

  • Attend industry conferences to represent Local Real Estate Investment Team.
  • Organize and execute impactful conferences and roadshows to showcase the Local Real Estate Investment team s expertise and services.
  • Take charge of setting the agenda for U.S. Roadshows, ensuring alignment with key topics, presentations, and meetings.
  • Report on activities at conferences and roadshows.

Stakeholder Relations:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Local Real Estate Investment team, including leadership, asset managers, and decision-makers.
  • Foster relationships with external partners, industry experts, and investment professionals in the U.S. and MENA regions.
  • Proactively schedule and manage follow-up meetings and interactions to advance investment initiatives.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc projects and other tasks as delegated by team members.

Client Relationships and Comprehension:

  • Cultivate and nurture strong client relationships within the Local Real Estate Investment team, demonstrating a keen understanding of their unique needs, preferences, and challenges.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field. Master s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Real Estate, Construction, Urban Development.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial information and communicate insights effectively.
  • Experience executing complex investments, including experience negotiating and structuring transactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in a global, multicultural, environment and knowledge of foreign investment regulations and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bloomberg, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Deal Cloud
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally (15% to 25%).

The base pay range for this position is $150,000- $250,000. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history, job-related knowledge, qualifications, and skills.
