About The Role
Nili Lotan is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to Oversee and manage daily business operations of our East Hampton retail store. General tasks include supervising employees, communicating with, and helping customers and carrying out directives given by the upper management and the General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and train staff: daily operations, visual expectations, daily opening and closing procedures, product knowledge, clienteling and customer experience.
- Review staff performance and other constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with team leads to set and achieve team-specific goals as well as individual goals.
- Build and maintain a personal client book while meeting and exceeding sales goals. Responsible for 20% of individual annual store sales.
- Develop and execute business initiatives to increase CGD, improved KPIs, and drive underperforming product/dept ST.
- Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints.
- Oversee back-of-house operations to ensure daily tasks are being met, stockroom is well maintained and there is coverage when the Stock Manager is out of the store.
- Ensure collateral is fully always stocked and Ship Memos are being processed daily. Other weekly corporate requests are being completed by requested deadlines.
- Monitor product ST and inventory levels to inform replenishment needs.
- Create and update monthly sales ledgers, individual goals, schedules.
- Partner and coordinate with the studio and PR team on celebrity pulls, studio pulls, and corporate giftings.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of retail experience, preferably in a similar role or fashion retail environment.
- Strong understanding of retail management principles.
- Skilled in using MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced working environment.

Nili Lotan is an Israeli-born and New York-based fashion designer. After graduating from the prestigious Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Tel Aviv, Nili moved to NYC in 1980 to pursue a career in fashion design, where she enjoyed a very successful career leading design teams at top American fashion houses including Ralph Lauren, Liz Claiborne, and Nautica.
Nili launched her own namesake label in 2003, designing a wardrobe of luxurious, chic, and timeless pieces for today's woman, that has since expanded to include jeans, belts and handbags as well as limited-edition collaborations. Nili Lotan has several retail stores in the United States and the collection can be found at upscale retailers throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia.
