Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Assistant Project Manager - Architectural Woodworking. This role is an on-site position located in Hauppauge, NY.

  • Assist in the management of architectural woodworking projects from start to finish, including coordinating with clients, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders.
  • Utilize Procore software for project management tasks such as document control, RFIs, submittals, and drawing management.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of project schedules using MS Project.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely delivery of materials and installation schedules.
  • Collaborate with the design team to review shop drawings and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Assist in project budgeting, cost tracking, and invoice processing.
  • Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any issues or concerns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural woodworking or related construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with project management software, particularly Procore and MS Project.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
