The Assistant Manager, Diversity & Inclusion will support the day-to-day operations of Cartier North Americas D&I initiatives, programs, and activities. This newly created position will report to the Head of Diversity & Inclusion and will manage various projects and initiatives that impact D&I within and outside of the organization. The ideal candidate is self-driven, proactive, and committed to creating equitable environments. Candidates must have a passion for diversity, equity and inclusion and a proven ability to create safe and authentic spaces. Partner with Human Resources on talent acquisition, learning programs, and employee experience
+ Identify new talent sourcing channels (colleges, universities, clubs, social groups, etc.)
+ Expand connections with HBCUs, HSIs, and related organizations
+ Assess and recommend DEI trainings
+ Identify and coordinate employee volunteer opportunities that support Cartiers D&I mission * At least 3 years of experience in relevant role (D&I, HR, program management, retail support)
* Proven track record creating inclusive and equitable spaces
* Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
* Project management skills, including managing calendars and timelines
* Organizational, planning and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting rigorous deadlines
* Creative problem solver, detailed orientated and a self-starter
* Ability to work effectively with all company levels from senior management, to outside partners and support staff
* Ability to work both as part of a team and independently; demonstrates initiative
* Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Flexible to travel and work overtime in line with business needs
* Retail experience preferred
