Job Title: Assembly C Job Code: 10334 Job Location: Rochester, NY Schedule: 4/10 Job Description: This person will contribute to the company's success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products. Candidates must be capable of following an engineered assembly process and maintaining consistent quality and productivity levels. Essential Functions: Performs a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products in a repetitive nature Follows an engineered assembly process, but may require the ability to adjust, fit, or align parts Uses hand tools such as long nose pliers, screw drivers, soldering irons, and wrenches Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels Uses Microsoft Office programs Performs hand soldering on electronic assemblies Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production environment Works as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks Strong Customer Focus Ability to work overtime as needed Able to lift and move up to 25 lbs. Basic Qualifications: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Preferred Qualifications: Previous assembly skills and strong mechanical background L3Harris product knowledge Self-Starter, Willingness to train and mentor entry level assemblers Capable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements through the E3 process Lean manufacturing skills Oracle system knowledge IPC 7721 is preferred In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $37,800 - $66,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
