This includes the flexibility to move among different production line(s) and working with different employees to support the overall daily production plan. Work closely with team members to identify process gaps and work to optimize internal processes in a way that provides the best customer service, quality and teamwork.REPORTING RELATIONSHIPSReports to the Manufacturing ManagerESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKSWork on production line, pay attention to instructions from supervisor/line lead who directs the flow of work ensuring the pace meets expectationsMonitor metrics as assigned (production measurements)Communicate any defects or other problems to supervisor/line lead using data. Clearly describes the defect in detail so that improvement can be implemented.Responsible for meeting customer expectation of performance, quality, OTD, etc.Responsible for ensuring that all production material is available on the line.Responsible for working 5S on the line at all times enforcing best practice.Complies with required use of Personal Protective Equipment (Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Shoes, Gloves, etc.)Participates in Operational Excellence Processes (Continues Improvement Events, RIE s)Complies with scheduled work hours and Attendance PolicyAll other duties assigned by ManagerACCOUNTABILITYAdherence to all safety regulations and proper and safe storage of parts.Responsible for upholding the highest ethical standards in the conduct of my employment with the Company and to personally abide by the IDEX Standards of Conduct and Business Ethics Policy.EDUCATION LEVEL, SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION0-5 years manufacturing experienceExperience using JDE softwareAttentive to detailMust be able to perform positions on the production line within established standard time requirements (to be demonstrated at any time, without notice).Must be able to calculate any required metricsMust be able to operate all equipment on trained line.Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructionsMust know 6S and maintain it on primary line, while respecting it for all other lines.Must be able to train new employees in their jobsAbility and desire to work in a fast paced environmentA team player with the ability to enable changes in business process and the ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the organization.SKILLS AND/OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITIONRequires lifting boxes weighing up to 50 poundsRequires standing for 8 to 10 hours per dayUse of air and electric power toolsAbility to work harmoniously with diverse range of peopleAbility to work in non-air-conditioned environmentAre you ready to join a different kind of company where our people, our culture, and our commitments are centered around providing trusted solutions that improve lives around the world?Total RewardsThe starting compensation for this position is $23.38 per hour.
