Are you ready to take your leadership skills to the next level? We're seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join us as an Area Director at Chartwells K12, overseeing food service accounts in the vibrant regions of Northern New Jersey, Westchester County, and Long Island, NY.

As an Area Director, You Will:

  • Lead and Inspire: Take the reins in leading a team of Dining Service Directors, fostering a culture of excellence, and inspiring your team to deliver outstanding results.
  • Client Relations Mastery: Manage client relationships with finesse, ensuring satisfaction and trust in our services. Your interpersonal skills will be pivotal in maintaining strong partnerships.
  • Operational Excellence: Strategically plan and direct operations to achieve financial goals while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Community Support: Be a driving force in supporting our community. Your role goes beyond managing accounts; it's about making a positive impact in the dynamic environments we serve.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university, or five + years of progressive experience in multi-unit food service
  • Strong background in a leadership role with exposure to contract/budget management, customer service, people development, food services, negotiations, etc.
  • Has a consistent track record, knowledge of growing a business, and proven business and financial proficiencies.
  • Has the ability to think quickly, analytically, strategically, and accurately
  • Shows expert client relationship, influencing, presentation, listening, and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Champions the inclusive approach, and is proactive, positive, professional, flexible, and resilient
  • Demonstrates initiative, ownership, multitasking, prioritization, and organization skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite
  • Working experience in K12 food service and knowledge of NSLP regulations
  • Traveling throughout the State of Rhode Island to provide management support to all K-12 School food service accounts. This position will include a company vehicle.
