Role & Responsibility:

Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success

Supporting Sales Strategy and Tactics for continued performance improvement.

Participate in courses of actions for closing sales while managing opportunities.

Inform management of all critical sales issues, events, and threats in major accounts with appropriate priorities.

Working with ERP system.

Familiarity with the Strategic Selling Process of a plus.

Upsell at existing opportunities.

Increase quantity of opportunities in the sales funnel.

Identify the roles of key individuals at opportunities, fulfilling their requirements, while creating and cultivating positive relationships at all levels of the organization

Develop opportunities and move forward through the sales funnel.

Secure the order for individual opportunities.

Accomplish these steps for concurrent multiple opportunities.

Answers routine questions on applying and programming products, either via the phone, on-site or through the remote diagnostics via the internet

Backup Telephone/Email Support:

Assists in Department coverage from 7:45 AM through 5:15 PM. Supports goal of immediate response to customer calls by answering the phone when not on the phone. Participates in call quality monitoring. Enters call data as relevant into ERP and in a form presentable to the customer. Follows up on open calls and elevates unresolved issues.

Quotes repair and replacement parts orders and issues Return Authorizations to customers as well makes recommendation for New items, involving Sales Organization as needed.

Skills & Experience:

Bachelor s degree in engineering, preferably Electrical, Electro-Mechanical or Mechanical Engineer.

Minimum of 2-5 years in application or sales of technical products, preferably in Industrial Automation.

Experience with Industrial Automation at all levels including:

Custom Automation Machines.

Robotic and Motion Control Systems.

Programmable Logic Controls (PLC).

Computer Numerical Controls (CNC).

Experience working with people at multiple levels of an organization.

Understanding Motion Control Applications including Tension Control; Rotary Knife with Registration; Flying Shear; Winding; Camming; Interpolation and Pick and Place a plus.

Experience working with Distribution and as Direct Sales to Original Equipment Manufacturers and Integrators.

Experience as applications engineer, systems engineer, or sales support engineer is a plus.

Computer Skills including Microsoft Office, ERP or Other Business Type Databases and familiarity with application specific software such as Ladder, Structured Text; Basic.

Ability to travel 20%. Some International travel may be required.
